TruAbility™ was born from a hands-on problem: traditional fitness tools left too many people behind.

When our founder first began working with physical therapists and adaptive athletes, it became clear that existing solutions weren’t built with every body in mind. So we set out to change that — starting in a small workshop with a big idea: build tools that adapt to people, not the other way around.

Shawn Tru founded TruAbility™ after witnessing how inaccessible most fitness tools were for people with mobility or physical differences.

With a background in personal training, and a deep belief that movement builds dignity, he has dedicated his career to creating adaptive solutions that bring independence and joy back into motion.
